HAPPY CUSTOMERS
"Buck's CNC has been our go-to machine shop for over 6 years. Our company designs and builds high-end sensor and communication equipment for the Defense industry. These parts require tight tolerance and complicated geometries. Buck's CNC has always been up to the task and has never let us down. We continue to return to Buck's CNC for the top notch quality, response time and customer service. We highly recommend using Buck's CNC for any of your machining needs."
Shaun Ferguson, Torrey Pines Logic
"Working with Buck's CNC has been an incredible experience for our company. They are extremely professional and have always delivered our products when they said they would. We've used them exclusively for over 7 years now. Our parts always come with the tolerances we spec'd. In addition to exceptional quality and professionalism, they are always looking for ways to help us save cost in parts design, whether it's with material selection or the physical part itself. They are always willing to help and it's rare, in our experience, to find a company that you can rely on 100 percent of the time. They make our business, their business."
Jorden Campbell, Razorback Technology
"Buck's CNC has been a top-tier manufacturing partner for us over the past seven years. Their attention to detail and broad range of capabilities is unmatched!"
Michael Dickson, Xometry.com
"We have had numerous occasions to hire Buck's CNC for various parts...We have found Drew to be honest, intelligent, and talented. His precision to detail is great, his prices are fair and one of the biggest things that we appreciated was that when he said he would have a job done, he did - and in the machining world, that is something that does not always happen. If you need any machining work done, or need numerous parts manufactured, I would strongly recommend his shop."

We love figuring out the best way to make something new. Complex parts provide the chance lean into a challenge and make what was just a good idea become a tangilble product.
Need a lot of perfect parts fast? The dual-spindle, Y-axis live tool lathe with bar feeder is made to run lights out and nonstop to fill large orders of beautiful parts. And, with 4 double station vises, 4th axis tombstones and creativity, our mills are no slouch.
With Fusion 360 CAM software, we can machine practically anything you can design. Follow us to see some of the parts we can produce.
Up to 12" diameter, with 22" of Z stroke. With Y-Axis milling capability can drill or mill off-center on the face or around the radius. As with milling, we have experience turning Steel alloys, Stainless, Aluminum, Titanium, Copper, Brass, Plastics.
Beautiful Finishes.
Extremely tight tolerances for flat surfaces of metal parts. With 17 years of experience cutting chips, it's a fun new experience to throw sparks instead.
WHO WE ARE
In 2010, while still working a full time job, I started Buck's CNC Machining with a VERY used wire EDM in the garage. I would set it up before work and after dinner to run through the day and into the night; as many hours as possible. My wife would babysit it during the day, rethreading wire and changing parts.
In 2014, I took the plunge to quit my job. I arranged with the owner of a local shop to subcontract his parts and rent his machines for all of the outside work I could bring in. As you can see, some of the machines were what I would call "vintage". The first Haas mill in the picture was Serial #187 off of the Haas production line. But I made thousands of parts on these awesome little machines!
Meanwhile, back in the garage, with the EDM still running day and night, I started adding to my arsenal with the Samsung SL25ASY lathe (dual spindle, Y axis milling, and 5 foot barfeeder). It measured 21' 7" long in a 21' 6" garage. I had to cut a hole in the sheetrock for the bar feeder to slide and made a skid plate over the chip conveyor for the garage door to kick out an inch as it closed. Many late nights were had machining many complex parts coming off complete in one op. This machine is still the backbone of my operations today.
In 2016, construction was finished on my 40'x 50' shop in Heyburn. I added a Haas VF2 with High Speed Machining and full 4th axis. In 2018, I sent the EDM on to it's next owner and added a Haas VF2SS. 4 Kurt double station vises, "5th Axis" fixturing, and my 2 Moreside 4th axis fixtures help me mill anything under the sun in quantities from 2 to 20,000.
In the near future, we plan to add high-end machinists, metrology, and machines. Moving forward debt free, with a new strategy for the future, great things are on the horizon. Come grow your business with us as we grow ours.
